Technical Program Manager II, Applied AI, Trust and Safety

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Leverage technical expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Applied AI and agentic solutions to fully understand their potential for developing and scaling effective abuse-fighting strategies and how they are being used throughout the program portfolio.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables.
- Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
- Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
- Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
- Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies to build agentic solutions.
- Experience with data analytics and dashboard development.
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in fraud, spam and abuse space/ecosystem.
- Experience of working on LLM prompting or developing AI agents.
- Experience in implementing and delivering process improvements.
- Technical proficiency coupled with the ability to earn the trust and respect of engineering teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business/technical/product stakeholders and leadership to align project priorities and schedules.
Benefits
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $138000 - $198000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
