Technical Program Manager, Energy, Carbon and Cost Optimization

About the role

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead cross-functional programs with energy, sustainability, and finance teams. They will accelerate the development of internal products necessary to efficiently scale with AWS's business, identifying areas of improvement and developing novel solutions to meet internal and external customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs with energy, sustainability, and finance teams
• Accelerate the development of internal products necessary to efficiently scale with AWS's business
• Identify areas of improvement and develop novel solutions to meet internal and external customer needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
• Experience or interest in working on sustainability or the energy transition

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
• Experience solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries
• Experience working in Corporate Sustainability
