Technical Program Manager, Data Platforms & AI (contract)

Location: Irving, TX • Duration: 12 months • Work engagement: W2 • Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

About the role

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Scrum or Agile. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, longer-term Scrum Master challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. You will contribute to resolving complex situations while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and deliverables. The role involves strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel.

Responsibilities

• Consult on large-scale Agile/Scrum initiatives with broad organizational impact
• Analyze and resolve complex, multi-faceted Scrum Master challenges
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and deliverables
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel
• Manage ambiguity and drive execution across cross-functional teams
• Create data visualizations and dashboards using Jira and Power BI/Tableau
• Develop executive reporting using advanced Excel queries and pivots
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., MS Copilot, GenAI) for program reporting and AI-project management within the SDLC

Requirements

• Scrum or Agile experience demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)

Skills

• Strong understanding of Data Platforms and Cloud migrations
• Advanced Excel (complex queries, pivots, executive reporting)
• Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
• Jira and Agile reporting, including Jira automations
• Expertise in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools
• Data visualization and dashboard creation using Jira
• Cross-functional coordination
• Proven experience using AI tools for program reporting and AI-project management
• Familiarity with GenAI tools (e.g., MS Copilot)
