Technical Program Manager - Coppell, TX
About the role
Recently named by Newsweek as one of the Best American Mid-Sized Workplaces in 2026, Rohde & Schwarz is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Applied Solutions Organization (ASO) in Coppell, TX.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex commercial and government system integration programs from opportunity through customer acceptance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute successful program delivery plans.
- Cook up and manage external suppliers and partners to track deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure successful integration into overall program execution.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Influence cross-functional teams to drive alignment, accountability, and successful program execution.
- Support pre-award planning by evaluating project complexity, execution strategies, risks, and resource requirements.
- Lead and standardize the Project Lookback (Lessons Learned) process to drive continuous improvement across the PMO.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; master's degree with 7+ years.
- Will consider 15+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree for the right candidate.
- Experience managing complex technical programs in engineering, manufacturing, or systems integration.
- Proven ability to proactively solve problems, manage risks, and drive results.
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Test and measurement or related high-technology industry experience preferred.
Benefits
The total compensation for this position is $115K-$140K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
