About the role

Join AWS as a Technical Program Manager to scale Ask AWS, AWS Marketing's conversational, AI-native customer experience that helps millions of AWS customers discover and understand the right services through natural conversation. In this role, you'll connect product, engineering, design, applied science, and partner teams across the organization, driving the alignment needed to ship a GenAI experience that reaches customers across AWS digital properties.

Ask AWS sits at the intersection of GenAI, product, engineering, and design, requiring navigation of multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex technical dependencies. You'll bring it all together by working closely with engineers to drive features to completion, building processes that sustain a fast delivery cadence, and communicating the impact of the team's work to the broader organization. As Ask AWS expands to render across multiple properties, you'll help manage cross-domain integration, delivery, and rollout.

We seek someone who influences without authority and navigates complex organizational dynamics. You'll align stakeholders across teams, manage dependencies spanning organizations, and build consensus among groups with differing priorities to keep a high-velocity GenAI initiative moving toward customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering to drive features to completion, removing blockers and ensuring timely delivery
  • Dive deep into technical implementations to understand constraints and drive clarity with engineering and product teams
  • Establish scalable mechanisms and processes that enable the team to operate efficiently as it grows
  • Own communications about the team's work, from release notes to leadership updates to organizational announcements
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and facilitate decision-making among stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Serve as the primary coordinator between design system consumers and contributors, building relationships that drive adoption
  • Lead cross-organizational initiatives, managing dependencies and driving consensus across team boundaries
  • Identify and mitigate risks through proactive stakeholder engagement and transparent communication
