Technical Program Manager

About the role

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position located onsite in Fremont, CA.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management (TPM), preferably within software development or technical program environments.
• Strong experience leading complex technical programs from initiation through successful delivery.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Former Software Engineer or Systems Engineer with hands-on technical experience.
• Hands-on frontend or backend software engineering experience is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to collaborate with software engineering, product, architecture, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of software systems, technical architecture, and engineering processes.
• Proficiency in SQL with a basic understanding of database and table structures.
• Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables across multiple teams.
• Hands-on experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to drive programs to successful completion.
