About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value‑added solutions across the entire asset life cycle, including world‑class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high‑end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. As a Process Engineer you will perform the activities listed below under the supervision and with support from a senior team member. The role focuses on decarbonization, energy transition, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Process simulation using HYSYS and production of process datasheets and heat and material balances
• Developing P&IDs including hydraulic calculations, relief valve sizing, vessel sizing, design condition development, etc.
• Utility and offsites design development such as utility balances associated with steam, cooling water, air, hot oil, fuel gas, nitrogen, etc.
• Reviewing relevant supplier information impacting process design
• Strong commitment to Zero Harm and HSSE policies and procedures
• Demonstrates commitment to compliance with all laws, regulations and corporate policies ensuring the highest ethics in business conduct, including but not limited to KBR’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, ITCO and other relevant anti‑corruption policies

Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering required
• 2+ years relevant experience

Skills

• Solid knowledge of Chemical Engineering disciplines
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
