Technical Product Owner / System Analyst Lead
Location: Englewood, CO (Hybrid) – 3 days onsite per week (Mon-Wed or Tue-Thur). 12-month contract role with 2 openings.
About The Role
Our client is seeking a Technical Product Owner / Systems Analyst Lead to play a key role in a large-scale enterprise technology transformation. This position will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements gathering, solution design, Agile delivery, and enterprise application modernization efforts. You'll work closely with architects, developers, product teams, and business leaders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while helping shape delivery standards, requirements management processes, and system integration strategies across the organization. Responsibilities
- Requirements & Discovery
- Lead business and technical requirements gathering efforts across multiple enterprise initiatives.
- Analyze and break down complex business requests into actionable technical requirements.
- Identify underlying business needs and distinguish them from proposed solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to manage projects from discovery through solution design.
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Design system integrations, interfaces, and data exchange solutions.
- Create technical solution flows, process maps, and architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to define implementation approaches.
- Support enterprise application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Agile Product Ownership
- Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Facilitate backlog refinement and grooming sessions.
- Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies.
- Support development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Leadership & Process Improvement
- Mentor and guide Systems Analysts and Technical Product Owners.
- Establish and improve requirements management practices and documentation standards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance delivery quality and team effectiveness.
- Define and report on metrics used to measure IT and project performance.
- Influence and collaborate with senior IT leadership and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience within a technical IT environment (Team Lead, Principal, Manager, Lead Analyst, or similar).
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Proven background in systems analysis and solution design.
- Experience creating technical documentation, process flows, and integration specifications.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs in Jira or similar tools.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and system integrations.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience defining and improving IT processes and delivery standards.
- Preferred Qualifications
- API and systems integration experience.
- SQL and database knowledge.
- Enterprise application integration experience.
- Experience supporting telecommunications, cable, or related industries.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Experience using Lucidchart for process and architecture documentation.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and enterprise architecture concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft technology stacks and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted requirements creation tools and practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.

Pay
$65.00 - $78.00/hour.
