Product Owner / Lead System Analyst

About the role
UST is searching for an experienced Product Owner / Lead System Analyst to bridge business objectives and technology solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and development teams to define product vision, gather and analyze requirements, manage product backlogs, and ensure successful delivery of business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, and Architects to ensure successful product delivery.
- Define product roadmaps and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and process improvement activities.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance customer experience and usability.
- Support UAT activities and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on business feedback and metrics.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or System Analyst.
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodology and Product Lifecycle Management.
- Experience managing and prioritizing Product Backlogs.
- Proficiency in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of User Stories, Use Cases, Workflow Diagrams, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare domain experience preferred.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and system architecture concepts.
- Experience with digital transformation and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
- Certification such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMI-PBA, or CBAP is an advantage.

Pay
Compensation range: $96,000-$144,000 (Role Location: Remote-US)
