Technical Product Owner

This Technical Product Owner role offers the opportunity to help shape product direction, drive Agile delivery, and partner across business, engineering, and vendor teams to bring valuable solutions from concept to launch. Responsibilities Own project scope, timelines, and delivery coordination across Agile ceremonies and sprint cyclesLead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team collaboration sessionsSupport the team by removing blockers, resolving issues, and helping maintain steady progressPartner with stakeholders, business teams, and vendors to align priorities and communicate effectivelyTranslate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaManage and prioritize backlogs while balancing competing requests and changing needsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, design, engineering, and user enablementContribute to product strategy, roadmap planning, and end-to-end launch executionTrack product performance after launch and help identify opportunities for future improvementSupport Agile maturity and encourage a productive, accountable team environment Skills 3 to 7 years of experience in Agile technical product management3 to 7 years of experience with product lifecycle managementStrong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to translate technical concepts into clear business languageExperience gathering requirements and defining user storiesBackground working in Agile environments with sprint-based deliveryStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlinesCollaborative mindset and comfort working across multiple teams and functions Preferred Skills Experience supporting product roadmap development and go-to-market planningFamiliarity with end-to-end product launch processesAbility to use data insights to inform product decisions and improvementsExperience working with digital business partners and external vendorsKnowledge of aviation, operations, or large-scale enterprise environmentsBackground supporting product performance tracking and reporting after release Horizontal is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are valued and every team member is respected and supported.
