About the role
The Technical Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of product features within the Information Technology - Business Applications team. This role requires strong communication skills, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of user needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that product features align with business objectives and user needs.
- Facilitate regular stand-ups and sprint reviews to keep the team aligned and informed.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product decisions.
- Ensure that all product features meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a similar role.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management tools like Asana or Trello.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile practices.
- Understanding of data analytics and metrics for product performance.
