About the role
The Technical Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features based on business objectives and user needs.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product specifications.
- Facilitate sprint planning and review meetings to ensure team alignment and progress towards goals.
- Ensure product quality through regular testing and validation processes.
- Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders, providing updates and insights as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a similar role.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and product development processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or similar.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
