Technical Product Marketing Specialist - EV Charging

We are seeking a technically minded Product Marketing Specialist who can translate complex EV charging technology into compelling customer solutions. Sitting at the intersection of Product Management, Engineering, and Sales, you’ll bring customer needs into our product strategy while giving our commercial teams the technical insights, tools, and positioning they need to win.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure alignment of product strategy with customer needs.
  • Participate in strategic sales discussions, contributing technical and commercial insights to support proposal development.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer use-cases and develop product requirements to inform portfolio decisions.
  • Conduct competitive and technical analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Communicate roadmap updates and represent product marketing on weekly calls with strategic customers.
  • Provide technical product support during customer meetings and assist in crafting tailored proposals.
  • Develop impactful sales tools, training materials, and presentations to empower the sales team.
  • Create and maintain high-quality marketing materials and technical documentation for the North American Market.
  • Collaborate with the product marketing, corporate affairs, and marketing communication teams to support product launches and product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or comparable technical field of study, or business combined with engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, technical sales, sales engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience within EV charging, energy, power electronics, electrical infrastructure, or another complex technical industry strongly preferred.
  • Proactive and independent way of working.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Interest in working in a dynamic and fast-growing company.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Charlotte, NC area: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
