Technical Product Manager III

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements through delivery, launch, and optimization.
  • Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Partner with business, architecture, engineering, and operations teams to prioritize initiatives and ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop and manage product backlogs, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and technically feasible solutions.
  • Drive product performance through data analysis, customer feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead products supporting billing lifecycle management, policy administration, payments, collections, customer servicing, and related business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, governance, privacy, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, and technology stakeholders to support business and regulatory objectives.
  • Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies, including AI, Gen AI, automation, cloud, and blockchain, where appropriate.
  • Create and deliver product communications and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, influence key decisions, and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support Product Managers and Technical Product Managers while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products and enterprise initiatives.
  • Proven experience developing product roadmaps and managing products through the full lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience partnering with software engineering and architecture teams in complex technology environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience with user research, customer journey mapping, A/B testing, and product analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to influence strategic decisions and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in policy and billing lifecycle preferred.

Pay

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000
