About the role

As a member of the Paramount+ Content Systems Product team, you will help shape the automation strategy for our tools and systems that power our global streaming experiences. Your mission is to learn the manual, hands-on challenges of our partner teams and build the right solutions to solve the right problems at the right time. You will play a key role in keeping Paramount+ running efficiently as we grow to millions of new subscribers worldwide.

This team focuses on solving problems and improving workflows for the people we work with each day. Together, we build forward-looking tools that scale with our business.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Partner with Video and Content Operations to identify gaps in our content supply chain and turn those needs into a clear automation plan.
  • Systems Mapping: Map how our content systems connect from end to end—data flows, handoffs, and dependencies—to identify where and how to automate.
  • Process Automation: Guide the product development of our Content Systems, including rights, title, and media asset management, with a focus on automating manual, high-touch workflows.
  • AI & Innovation: Find and roll out AI-driven solutions to help operations teams work more effectively, such as automated metadata extraction, AI-assisted QC, and auto-created localized assets.
  • Technical Documentation: Share a clear vision for technical work by writing up scope, use cases, workflows, and sequence diagrams.
  • Agile Execution: Lead scrum team activities such as grooming, planning, and setting priorities to ensure development teams have what they need to succeed.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Bring together partners in product, tech, and operations to align on delivery scope and prepare for exciting global launches.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-4 years in software product management, with a focus on delivering business value and weighing trade-offs.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to map and visualize how complex, interconnected systems work together end-to-end to identify automation opportunities.
  • Automation Mindset: A passion for building workflow tools that are a "joy to use" for internal teams.
  • Technical Depth: Deep comfort with complex technical workflow systems; engineering experience or a background in AI/ML is a plus.
  • Domain Knowledge: A strong interest in the streaming media world and the content supply chain.
  • Collaboration: Build caring, trusting relationships across teams to ensure smooth product execution in a complex environment.
  • Agile Expertise: Hands-on Agile experience with excellent communication skills.
