Technical Product Manager – Advanced

About the role
We're hiring a Product Manager for Siemens Polarion ALM, where you will drive the success of our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions. You will lead the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Polarion ALM, ensuring it meets evolving customer needs and aligns with Siemens' business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Polarion ALM, aligned with market trends, customer needs, and Siemens' business goals.
- Drive business-oriented growth and identify new business development opportunities to expand market share.
- Act as the primary advocate for customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and feedback. Collaborate with key customers to gather insights, validate product ideas, and ensure customer satisfaction, with special attention to Polarion scalability and data retention.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for product differentiation. Use this analysis to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to deliver high-quality product features. Collaborate with development teams to prioritize features, define requirements, and ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond. Ensure successful product releases, manage product enhancements, and drive continuous improvement based on customer feedback and market demands.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably with experience in ALM, PLM, or System Engineering.
- Strong business-oriented mindset with experience in business development and strategic growth.
- Solid understanding of Software Defined Products (SDP) and methodologies.
- Superb communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for solving complex problems.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to engage with customers and global teams.
