About the role
We're building the future of sport. Bolt6 is a sports technology company at the forefront of visual innovation – from real-time tracking and data overlays, to immersive broadcast graphics and AR experiences. We work across tennis, golf, motorsport, volleyball, and more; partnering with rights holders and broadcasters to elevate how sport is seen, understood, and enjoyed. As we grow our presence in the US, we're looking for a Technical Product Engineer to own products end-to-end and help shape our direction in the US market.
What You'll Do
- Own 2–3 products end-to-end, from design through build and delivery
- Run each product like a startup within Bolt6, with full autonomy
- Set priorities and make the key decisions on what gets worked on when
- Be accountable for your products' success and key metrics
- Know when to ship a scrappy prototype versus a polished product
- Build hands-on alongside a developer — spec, prototype, test, iterate quickly
- Design automated systems that make operational workflows materially more efficient than competitors', while delivering better results
- Contribute your own ideas on how products can be improved, and have those ideas materially impact the quality of the end result
- Identify and solve problems with common-sense, pragmatic solutions that balance out unnecessarily complex technical ones
- Clients & Market: Work directly with clients — gather needs and contribute ideas that take the solution beyond what the client thinks is possible
- Input into direction for the US market from a product perspective
- Show technical leadership, both internally and externally
What You'll Bring
- A founder mindset — decisive, resourceful, and willing to wear every hat
- Scrapiness, with a strong bias toward action and direct involvement in solving problems
- Comfort with ambiguity and full ownership
- Proven product management experience, ideally taking products from concept to delivery
- Technical competence sufficient to build and iterate hands-on alongside engineers
- Clear communication and strong client interaction
Nice to Haves
- Background in sports technology, broadcast operations, or network infrastructure
- STEM or equivalent technical foundation
- Strong interest in sport
