Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, functional specifications, and solution documentation.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that support product strategy and business decisions.
  • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation for Agile development teams.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA teams, and business partners throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Validate delivered functionality through testing, requirement verification, and user acceptance support prior to production deployment.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in banking and collections business processes while supporting strategic product initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and promote best practices for requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts and data-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support multiple high-priority initiatives while maintaining project quality, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.

Required Skills/Education

  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Software Development professional.
  • Strong domain expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Collections.
  • Deep understanding of APIs, system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architecture.
  • Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business data.
  • Experience supporting Agile software development methodologies and working closely with Scrum teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with experience communicating technical information to executive and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships across business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
