About the role
The Technical Producer II plays a crucial role in the studio operations at BUV. They oversee the technical aspects of production, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally to support the creative vision of the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical setup and breakdown of productions, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and properly configured.
- Manage the studio’s audio and video equipment, troubleshooting issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that technical elements align with artistic goals and enhance the overall production quality.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of technical procedures and workflows.
- Train and mentor junior staff members in technical skills and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional production environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of audio and video production technologies and their applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
The Technical Producer II works a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work required for special events or productions.
