TECHNICAL MEDIA PRODUCER (PRIMARY) - WMBF

About the role
WMBF is seeking a full-time Technical Media Producer (TMP) to code and direct award-winning newscasts and operate master control technology from the station’s TMP room. The position requires flexibility, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Code and direct newscasts using Ross OverDrive automation
- Ingest daily programming and commercial inventory
- Monitor WMBF’s on-air broadcasts/streams, transmitter, and FCC logs
- Edit newscasts using Edius
- Oversee studio operations
- Adjust coverage plans on the fly for breaking news
Requirements
- Fluency in basic computer technology
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to work late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Background in communications with strengths in video and editing (desired)
- Newscast directing experience and master control operating experience (a plus)
- Experience at a commercial TV station (preferred)
