TECHNICAL MEDIA PRODUCER (MCO) P/T - WSFA/WCOV

WCOV FOX 20 is Montgomery, Alabama's historic first television station, serving a 15-county DMA for over 70 years. It is Central and South Alabama's premier source for entertainment and sports, and the only station producing a live local 9 pm newscast (via WSFA).
About the role
WSFA/WCOV is seeking a Part-Time Technical Media Producer (MCO). This position offers an opportunity for a motivated individual with technical aptitude and a passion for media production and technical excellence.
Schedule
Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, with occasional coverage for other shifts at various times.
Responsibilities
- Operate "on air" television equipment and monitor for quality control.
- Record and playback programs with commercial insertion in a multi-channel, automated broadcast environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated working knowledge of computers and ability to work with equipment in a complex technical environment.
- Broadcast experience is a plus but not required.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work under strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Qualifications
College degree or technical education preferred.
