About the role
Your day will look like this:
- Read and interpret Lighting systems drawings.
- Demonstrate completed system to clients, answering all questions and ensure the systems meet the client’s requirements.
- Create new programming and user interfaces.
- Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of lighting programming.
- Create end-user and programming-related documentation.
- Maintain and update programming in installed systems.
- Maintain control code in version control repository
Travel to various job sites required. Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a programmer or installation technician in the lighting industry is desired.
- ETC Paradigm Programming Certifications
- Experience with ETC Architectural lighting systems
- Strong lighting controls and network troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills with employees, clients, and colleagues, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and independently.
- Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems.
- Advanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization, and operations of lighting equipment
- Understanding of computer networking, firewalls, IT systems, and troubleshooting those systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Flexible schedule with being available during evenings and weekends, on occasion.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

- Occasionally: Stand, carry, reach, lift and push up to 50 lbs.
Work Requirements
- Time will be spent in an office and construction site setting.
- Flexible work hours to support operations. Typical workweeks standard 40 hours but may also include overtime as needed.
- Environment may be fast paced.
- Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company driving standards.
- Travel within the continental US required
