The Technical Lead - Node.js is responsible for providing technical direction, building robust applications, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the software development lifecycle. This role combines architecture, coding expertise, team collaboration, and client-focused problem solving to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of overall professional experience in software development.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- 2+ years of professional experience working with Node.js.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, reporting databases, data modeling, data integration, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and implementing loosely coupled, service-oriented architectures.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach development teams on technical concepts and engineering practices.
- Ability to understand technical roadmaps and lead teams toward successful execution.
- Experience with GraphQL and Kafka is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel quarterly to locations such as Chicago or Atlanta as needed.
