Requirements

  • 3+ years of related Databricks experience and system integration with an Agile development team
  • Ability to lead, communicate and troubleshoot with a team that works 100% remotely
  • Online and responsive to the team and client using email/TEAMS chat during business hours
  • Experience with Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analytics, including developing and maintaining data pipelines/notebooks that integrate with backend services and downstream data stores
  • Strong experience in back-end services and implementing capabilities to support web applications using microservices
  • 5+ years of Java/J2EE (Java 19 or higher preferred) work experience
  • Experience with systems that integrate and aggregate data from multiple sources using Databricks to support analytical or examination workflows
  • Experience with performance tracking, workflow, or analytics systems that rely on integrating data from multiple enterprise sources
  • Experience with Java REST APIs / Microservices
  • Angular 19+
  • TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, PrimeNG, RxJS
  • 2+ years of AWS experience with ECS (building Docker images and deploying them in a cluster), ECR (Docker image repository)
  • 2+ years of relational database experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL (or Oracle 19), including the ability to write and understand SQL queries
  • Experience designing and implementing data access layers and integrations with search/analytics engines (e.g., Elasticsearch) for high-volume query workloads
  • Terraform and GitLab pipeline configuration
  • Building and coding backend applications and/or models using Spring/Spring Boot framework
  • Security Clearance Level: Public Trust

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
