Technical Lead

About the role

The Tech Lead will provide technical leadership in the end to end design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services. Responsible for meeting development schedules and delivering high quality solutions that meet technical specifications and design requirements. Lead the specification and software design phases of the software development life cycle. May manage the design and implementation of new software development and enhancement efforts and software testing with other technologists.

Responsibilities

• Understand the platform technical and business roadmap and ensure that all initiatives are aligned with the roadmap
• Design and develop technical solutions of new software development and enhancement efforts.
• Coordinate coding and unit testing phases of system development and facilitate Code Reviews
• Develop and contribute to domain solutions and execute changes in line with the implementation plan.
• Communicate project status and technical updates to stakeholders, along with recommended action plans when required.
• Coordinate delivery timelines with the team, including quality and timeliness metrics.
• Coaches, mentors and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Requirements

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Required
• Work Experience: 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred
• Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years dev experience (2+ leading), strong in Java/Python/C#/JS-TS
• Hands-on AI coding assistant use (Copilot/Claude Code/Cursor) with proven skill in catching AI-generated bugs and security flaws
• Solid grasp of software architecture, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Proficient in CI/CD, Git, DevOps, SQL databases, and automated testing
• Proven mentor and Agile team leader with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building AI-powered features (LLM integration, RAG, ML deployment)
• Track record evaluating/piloting new AI dev tools for team adoption
• Familiar with AI security risks (prompt injection, data leakage, dependency risks)
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
