Technical Lead

Location: Charlotte, NC (in-person interview required)

About the role

We are looking for a strong Technical Lead with hands-on development and technical delivery experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of leading technical design, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, mentoring development teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, and implementation of application features and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and offshore teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Mentor developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Coordinate deliverables across distributed teams.
• Support testing, deployment, production implementation, and post-production issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of IT experience with 4–5+ years in a Technical Lead or Senior Developer role.
• Experience working in enterprise delivery environments with distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, technical planning, estimation, and issue resolution experience.

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in application development, solution design, and technical delivery.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and release management.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience in code reviews, documentation, estimation, and impact analysis.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor teams and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
