About the role
The Technical Lead - Application Development position at Versana Tech is responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient software applications. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in software development methodologies, and a deep understanding of modern application architectures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all aspects of the application lifecycle.
- Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project deliverables.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years leading a team.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and under budget.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience with various programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
