This position involves applications engineering and inside sales support in a result-driven, fast-paced environment. A Day in the Life
A technical sales role encompasses a wide variety of tasks where one day does not look exactly like the next. Projects are high in volume and unique, spanning design, procurement, coordination, and post-sale support. Typical tasks include:
- Building relationships with existing and new customers.
- Application engineering using sound engineering principles.
- Project management of installations in progress, managing schedules to ensure equipment is delivered on time.
- Service and technical support of existing equipment.
- Supporting end users to maintain high levels of customer service, from assisting contractors with on-site wiring to remote troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
- Provide integrated application engineering and design support for a wide range of ventilation applications, delivering sustainable products and the latest technologies tailored to customer needs.
- Work directly with engineers, contractors, end users, and food service dealers.
- Daily tasks include inside sales support and application engineering, such as presentations, quotes, submittals, and technical product support.
- Educate and promote CaptiveAire products through conference calls, meetings, presentations, and product demos.
- Research and develop new business opportunities with new and existing users.
- Deliver top-notch customer service, going above and beyond to serve the customer with quick turnaround times as a priority.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and the customer experience.
Requirements
- 0-5 years of experience.
- 4-year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, construction, or science-oriented curriculum preferred.
- Excellent computer, organizational, and communication/presentation skills.
- Problem-solving ability with a passion for continuous learning.
- Strong desire to interface with customers.
- Embrace new technologies and business savvy.
- Passion for work with an aggressive nature to succeed.
- Willing to travel for various training opportunities.
- For engineering graduates, expectation to complete the FE Exam within 6 months of employment.
- Must be a “go-getter.”

Pay
$65,000–$90,000 base salary, negotiable dependent on experience, with additional monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.
