Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries and prepare accurate quotes and cost estimates.
- Support the sales team with technical and commercial solutions for complex customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to existing customers.
- Track order intake, invoiced sales, and profitability for repairs and spare parts.
- Manage service center orders from receipt through quoting, repair, and invoicing.
- Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, and technical solutions.
- Create, update, and validate Bills of Materials (BOM) in alignment with engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate pricing structures and technical documentation.
- Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain supplier databases.
- Place and track vendor orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance and proactively address risks or gaps.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (customer data, opportunities, order status).
- Participate in team meetings, reporting on pipeline, open items, and risks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or order management in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering or product information.
- Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
