About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Network Engineering is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to help us continue to build the largest network in the world.
Responsibilities
- Program manager, monitor the network infrastructure builds health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
- Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
- Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs as needed.
- Participate in the hiring process as well as mentor others - improving their skills and ability to get things done.
- Manage multiple competing cross-organizational projects/programs simultaneously.
- Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and senior management on a daily basis.
- Analyze, interpret and visualize data, with Redshift, Oracle, Tableau, QuickSight, Redshift, and other BI management and visualization tools.
- Create predictable process paths and Drive automation initiatives, and drive simplification efforts in engineering and project/program management and architectures to unblock innovation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
- 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems
- Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
- USA, CA, Santa Clara - 146,100.00 - 197,700.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle - 127,100.00 - 171,900.00 USD annually
