About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.

Reporting to the Data Center Delivery Business Operations Manager, you will partner across global AWS infrastructure organizations to shape the future of AWS delivery. The Data Center Delivery Business Operations team is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to build durable, data-informed processes within AWS Infrastructure. The role focuses on global data center inventory and power topology accuracy, driving continuous improvement, automation, and scalable, data-driven processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects, negotiating trade-offs as needed.
  • Provide regular program progress reporting.
  • Own end-to-end program execution and success.
  • Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
  • Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up.
  • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvements and automated solutions.
  • Assist in daily operational tasks as part of the Data Center Delivery workflow.
  • Maintain accurate server rack position data in the digital data hall inventory system to ensure on-time rack ordering for capacity needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of technical program management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency with MS-Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience with infrastructure builds, including scenarios involving data center technologies such as power, cooling, and controls systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center, networking engineering, systems engineering, or construction management with a strong understanding of data center technologies.

Pay

Base salary range: $95,300 – $160,000 USD annually (varies by location).
