About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA or Chicago, IL to oversee data center build projects. The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through scope and schedule creation, budget management, completed design, implementation, commissioning, and data center deployment. Along the way, you will use your judgment, critical thinking skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, eliminate non-value-add activities, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver on end-to-end builds
  • Work with stakeholder teams to map dependencies, create and drive schedules
  • Think big to solve some of our biggest challenges
  • Be highly organized, attentive to detail, and a problem solver
  • Deliver capacity to our end customers with high judgement

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
  • Experience in data center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management with a good understanding of data center technologies such as power, cooling and controls systems
  • Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time

Qualifications

  • Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to understand mechanical/electrical engineering concepts
  • Experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint
  • Experience with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL and systems integration is a plus

  • Scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management
  • Reporting and metric development/tracking
