Here's a thinking process: 1. **Analyze User Request:** - **Goal:** Reformat a job posting into clean, well-structured semantic HTML. - **Rules:** - Use `

` for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). - Use `
  • ` for lists of duties/requirements/benefits. - Use `

` for prose. - Do NOT repeat job title as heading (page already shows it). - Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings. - Fold minor metadata into short `

` or drop it. - Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. - Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. - IMPORTANT: Include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. - Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. - Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no `/`, no markdown code fences. 2. **Analyze the Input Text:** Let me carefully go through the provided job posting text. I need to identify sections, headings, lists, prose, metadata, and boilerplate to remove. The rules say remove application instructions, and fold minor metadata. I'll consider if any of this should stay. The rule says: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So the entire "APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:" block should be removed. - "For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants." - can be dropped or folded. I'll drop it as it's part of the application instructions/boilerplate. - "POSITION SPECIFICS" - this seems like a section heading, but the rules say: "Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings". "POSITION SPECIFICS" isn't a job title, but it's a section label. I need to decide how to handle it. The content under it describes location, travel, department, mission. I could fold it into an "About the role" or "Position specifics" section, but only if there's real content. The rules say include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. There is real content here: location, travel, department description. I'll likely create an "About the role" section or similar, but I need to map to allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. I should not invent headings not in the list, but I can use the listed ones. The rule says: "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says "e.g.", so those are examples, but likely I should stick to those or similar meaningful ones from the list. I'll use the ones that fit. - "You Will:" followed by a block of duties that run together. This is responsibilities. - "Additional responsibilities for higher-level position include:" - this is also responsibilities, but for a higher level. I'll combine into responsibilities section, maybe note the two levels, but preserve all substantive detail. - "Required Skills/Experience areas include:" followed by a list that's not properly separated. I'll make a Skills or Qualifications section. - "Preferred Skills/Experience areas include:" - similar. - "Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications" - this is Requirements/Qualifications. - Two certification scenarios: Intermediate Professional vs Professional. I'll preserve both as they are substantive. - "ARL’s purpose..." - About the role/organization. - "FOR FURTHER INFORMATION on ARL..." - can be folded or dropped as minor metadata. - "BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES" - this is part of requirements/conditions. I'll include under Requirements or a short paragraph. - "Notice regarding employment at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL):" - security clearance, drug testing, citizenship. Substantive, should keep. - "Salary & Benefits" section with salary range, benefits description. Pay and Benefits sections should be included since they have real content. - "CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS" - this is legal/boilerplate. The rules say remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. This is Clery Act disclosure. I think I should remove it as it's boilerplate legal text, not substantive job content. The rule says "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate". This is legal boilerplate. I'll drop it. - "EEO IS THE LAW" - explicitly remove as per rules. - "Federal Contractors Labor Law Poster PA State Labor Law Poster Penn State Policies Copyright Information Hotlines" - all boilerplate, remove. Now, I need to structure the remaining content into semantic HTML using

    for sections,
    • for lists,

for prose. Allowed sections (from rules): About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. I should only include sections that have real content. Let's map: - "About the role": Could include
