Responsibilities

  • Develop and use data processing technologies such as Python, SPARK, Java, SQL, ECL, Jenkins, PyPi, Terraform, Cloudera, Apache NiFi, Apache Hop, and ElasticSearch to perform data processing.
  • Develop, validate, and use methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments.
  • Plan and coordinate system testing, integration, deployment, installation, validation, troubleshooting, and analysis across networks and systems of collection or processing systems equipment.
  • Lead and execute cloud and system implementations, migrations, and upgrades ensuring systems meet availability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Integrate infrastructure and platforms with DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to address and escalate complete system issues.
  • Develop technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and associated documents.
  • Ensure systems meet availability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Translate technical issues into business impact.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT-related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Experience: 15+ years

Required technical skills:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and using data processing technologies such as Python, SPARK, Java, SQL, ECL, Jenkins, PyPi, Terraform, Cloudera, Apache NiFi, Apache Hop, and ElasticSearch to perform data processing.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analytics tools SPLUNK and ELK.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, validating, and using methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with Information Technology architectures (i.e., servers, storage, and virtualization).
  • Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating the system testing, integration, deployment, installation, validation, troubleshooting and analysis across networks and systems of collection or processing systems equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience performing hands-on systems engineering across network, compute, storage, operating systems, middleware, databases, and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting as-is infrastructure, platform, and application architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience creating detail engineering design for modernization, optimization, and transformation initiatives working with System and Cloud Architect.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing cloud and system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Ensure systems meet availability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating infrastructure and platforms with DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex, cross-stack issues within the infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders to address and escalate complete system issues.
  • Demonstrated experience developing technical documentation, diagrams, standards and associated documents.
  • Ability to brief leadership, translate technical issues into business impact.

Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Location: Tyson's, VA (On Customer Site)

Benefits

The likely salary range for this position is $186,542 - $252,379. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Pay

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: Less than 10%

Telecommuting Options: Onsite Work Location: USA VA Chantilly
