Technical Engineering Lead

For our client, a leader in the Energy & Utilities space, we are seeking a Technical Engineering Lead to join their team. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own structural engineering methodologies and documentation across the product portfolio
• Interpret building codes and engineering standards to inform product design
• Develop and maintain engineering rules for digital tools and BOM generation
• Provide advanced engineering support for complex customer applications and strategic accounts
• Partner with Product Development to validate designs and support new product introductions
• Coordinate with external engineering consultants and permitting organizations
• Create technical standards and reusable design practices to enhance organizational capability

Requirements

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering; PE preferred
• 7+ years in structural or solar engineering
• Experience supporting PV design and engineering teams and processes preferred
• Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, IRC, WFCM, and NDS codes
• Understanding of construction project plan review and permitting processes

Pay

$110,570 – $147,427 annually
