Technical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with a dedicated senior group of broadcast engineers, to support the roles and responsibilities of a broadcast technician and broadcast IT engineer.
• Be introduced to AM and FM transmitter facilities and become familiar with routine maintenance, and hands-on projects under supervision by senior broadcast engineers.
• Work with the digital teams to fulfill technological needs and planning.
• Work with local radio market brand managers on all aspects of video production and distribution through current platforms, with familiarity of NDI, OBS, V-Mix, TriCaster and are encouraged to innovate new approaches to ever-changing technologies.
• Take a leadership role in performance space activities (front of House- technical).
• Work with core sports broadcast production teams for Eagles, and Phillies radio, with emphasis on technical operations of Home and away games for Eagles radio broadcast.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computers and IT systems is a must, including proficiency with Google (GMail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• The ability to multitask in a multiple-project environment.
• Availability to work various hours / days, including some weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally climb ladders.
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires the use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.
• A recent graduate of either an undergraduate or relevant advanced degree program, or trade school, or relevant experience.
