Technical Enablement Director

About the role

Sentry is looking for a Technical Enablement Director to drive usage and adoption of Sentry's platform through education and enablement. This role involves strategy, planning, and execution of training and educational programs for both internal employees and external customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Become a Sentry product expert: familiarize yourself with all product capabilities and customer usage.
• Own the Sentry University virtual learning platform: prepare curriculum, build content, and manage user experience.
• Create a comprehensive training strategy for customers to quickly ramp on the platform and accelerate their Time To Value (TTV).
• Design and operate an engaging certification program for customers, partners, and employees.
• Create and deliver instructor-led training content for customers and prospects.
• Work in partnership with sales and marketing to track lead progress within Sentry University.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure enablement materials are up to date and meet company standards.
• Develop programs and training materials for onboarding and ongoing technical enablement of technical customer-facing teams.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure adoption and effectiveness of training programs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in application monitoring field with 5+ years of experience in technical training development and delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with technical and business audiences.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Significant experience working with customers and partners, both remotely and in person.
• Experience developing structured training plans, actions, and measurable metrics.
• Experience leveraging various learning tools and media to provide optimal learning.
