About the role
Apply a broad understanding of both quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, processes, human capital or culture, and information technology. Make recommendations on how to capitalize on opportunities to improve client performance. Advise on how to improve operations and serve as a practitioner with multiple areas of expertise that span across management advising pillars, as well as other functional communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical editing services in a government or private environment
- Use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Proofread documents for grammar and punctuation with high accuracy
- Pay strict attention to detail
- Advise on improving operations and serving as a practitioner with multiple areas of expertise
- Manage multiple publication projects and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with technical editing in a government or private environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
- Pay strict attention to detail
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with writing or editing, or 7+ years of experience with writing or editing in lieu of a degree
Skills
- Knowledge of DoD intelligence editing standards and styles
- Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
