Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide technical writing support in fields related to physical science and engineering.
- Transform highly scientific and technical documentation into easily understandable language.
- Provide editorial expertise to research, development, and test and evaluation scientific and engineering personnel during the writing stage of formal and informal technical publications, technical reports, and technical documentation.
- Verify information and analyze and correct editorial problems in the document prior to it being entered into the technical review chain.
- Edit technical documents to reflect proposed changes and provide sound rationale for those changes.
- Scan, extract, organize, and interpret numeric information and statistical data into appropriate graphic forms.
