About the role

As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s desired reputation. We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports national security.
  • Closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure AI governance.
  • Edit and revise AI documentation and guidance.
  • Guide clients to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like Word and SharePoint.
  • Collaborate on all aspects of oral and written communications.

Requirements

  • Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy.
  • Apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements to the production of all-source intelligence products.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience as an editor or technical editor, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as an editor or technical editor.

Qualifications

  • Nice if you have: Experience with producing or managing the production of technical or analytic products, experience as a technical editor in an IC organization, knowledge of the intelligence cycle and ICD 203 tradecraft standards, ability to demonstrate an interest in Artificial Intelligence, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
