About the role

BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst I to join our Logistics (Technical Documents) team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The successful candidate will support the US Navy's Aegis Combat System (ACS) research and development, shipboard ACS modernization efforts, new construction, and Fleet support efforts. The Aegis system is the Navy's premier combat suite for detection, command & control, sensor management, and weapon targeting.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and analyze Technical Manuals and Maintenance Work Packages for technical accuracy, readability, and compliance with the Navy Technical Manual Style Guide
• Provide on-site support for the Functional Readiness Assessment Tests (FRATS) as required per the schedule, which may include working non-traditional work hours to support mission requirements
• Evaluate FMS Case Releasability Guidelines for adequacy
• Coverage of requirements and schedule with the Government Customer, Lockheed Martin MST, and NSWC Port Hueneme
• Provide Technical Documentation reviews and releasability recommendations to Customer
• Adjudicate comments and ensure corrections incorporated into documents
• Aid in preparation of reports and presentations
• Aid in the project management of special projects for the customer, i.e., Process and Procedure Updates
• Support a team leader to meet tasking objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree, or military experience
• Strong writing & analytical ability
• Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Military clearance required
• Experience in U.S. DoD and FMS technical documentation production, releasability, or quality assurance reviews
• Experience may include Technical Documentation support in related fields such as commercial research and development efforts, or maritime industries

Skills

• Strong writing & analytical ability
• Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Federal Government Secret Clearance
• Experience in U.S. DoD and FMS technical documentation production, releasability, or quality assurance reviews
• Experience may include Technical Documentation support in related fields such as commercial research and development efforts, or maritime industries

Benefits

Full-Time Salary Range: $56401 - $95881
