Technical Designer, Grocery & Market

About the role

The Technical Designer is competent in multiple conventional aspects of architectural practice with an emphasis on the technical implementation of the project design. Performs work requiring adaptation of standards and criteria to project requirements. Possess a diverse working knowledge of related disciplines to support interdisciplinary coordination. Responsible for production of Contract Documents with support and direction from Project Manager and other senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Craft construction documents in Revit
• Coordinate with a collaborative team
• Turn retail ideas into buildable reality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred.
• Basic understanding of architectural design, site planning, design development and graphic presentation.
• Basic knowledge construction document production and development.
• Proficiency Revit (latest version), AutoCAD, and other graphic and business software and their application in developing and presenting design documents.
• Basic oral and written English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working on Grocery retail and commercial projects.
• Experience producing construction documents for permit in Revit.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Benefits

The base salary is estimated between $55,000 - $65,000 plus bonuses and benefits and is contingent on location & relevant experience.
