About the role
The Technical Designer is responsible for producing high quality construction documents. They work in all phases of a project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. Reporting to the Production Director, they assist architects and project managers during the construction administration phase.
Responsibilities
- Create presentations using design software to produce architectural construction documents in Revit.
- Assemble plans, construction documents, and other information for permitting.
- Cook up the preparation of construction documents with team members.
- Build Revit models during the design phase.
- Aid architects and project managers during the construction administration phase.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in using Revit.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Creativity, integrity, and initiative.
- Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Proficient in design software to create presentations.
- Participate in the drawing architectural construction documents in Revit.
- Coordinate the preparation of construction documents with team members.
- Aid in the building of Revit models during the design phase.
- Aid architects and project managers during the construction administration phase.

Pay
The expected pay range for this position, based on experience, skills, and knowledge applicable to the role, is $61,000 to $75,000.
