Technical Design 2 (contract)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain engineering drawings
• Create new, or revise existing drawings
• Prepare design layouts and modify existing designs
• Investigate and resolve moderately-complex manufacturing process, or engineering related issues
• Verify accuracy of engineering data produced by others
• Revise and maintain standard operating procedures for technical design
• 3D Model existing equipment

Requirements

• Experience with Computer Aided Design tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, & NX)
• Experience in Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
• Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data)

Qualifications

Previous experience in Design Engineering is preferred.

Experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi-discipline teams is preferred.

Previous experience with identifying required material types for parts and components is preferred.

Previous experience with identifying responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test) is preferred.

Pay Rate Range: 30 - 35 USD hourly
