Technical Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to coordinate software delivery, maintain accurate progress visibility, manage dependencies, and support clear communication among engineering teams, stakeholders, and leadership. This position is a temp-to-perm role and candidates must be local to the Houston, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Jira as the primary delivery tracking platform and provide reliable status reporting, metrics, and visibility into project health.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple software development teams.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and release schedules.
• Maintain Jira as the primary delivery management platform, keeping work items, dashboards, and reporting accurate and current.
• Monitor sprint progress, backlog health, delivery commitments, and release readiness.
• Coordinate regularly with engineering leads and stakeholders to maintain accurate status.
• Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and delivery metrics.
• Drive accountability for action items, decisions, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Improve delivery processes, Jira governance, and operational efficiency.
• Promote consistent project management practices across development teams.

Requirements

• Candidates must have professional experience as a Technical Delivery Manager.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
