Technical Delivery Manager

About the role

Directly support the Health Data Management (HDM) Integration Lead for VA applications. Coordinate technical delivery and manage cross-functional dependencies. Provide deep subject matter expertise in healthcare, informatics, data governance, and federal program operations. Advise on data governance, treatment, and purpose of use considerations. Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, summaries, and decision documents. Engage with stakeholders across VA, program leadership, and technical delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Health Data Management (HDM) Integration Lead for VA applications
• Coordinate technical delivery and manage cross-functional dependencies
• Provide subject matter expertise in healthcare, informatics, data governance, and federal program operations
• Advise on data governance, treatment, and purpose of use considerations
• Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, summaries, and decision documents
• Engage with stakeholders across VA, program leadership, and technical delivery teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, or 10 years of commensurate experience (8 years with certifications)
• Demonstrated experience with clinician-facing data and systems (e.g., VA CCD/CCDA, JHIE-based systems)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and their application
• Healthcare background with familiarity in clinical or operational workflows
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive presentations
• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
