Technical Content Creator

Key Responsibilities

• Create blog posts, long-form articles, tutorials, demo scripts, and use-case write-ups for Altimate Code.
• Generate original content ideas: Develop innovative, opinionated, and useful content based on trends in the data engineering ecosystem.
• Deep product expertise: Install, run, and analyze the product to author hands-on tutorials without requiring engineering support.
• Create use-case videos, GIFs for the website, and demo walkthroughs.
• SEO and AEO support: Optimize content for both human readers and generative search engines.
• Build infrastructure: Establish templates, editorial workflows, content calendars, and distribution checklists.
• Distribution: Package and distribute content to Reddit, LinkedIn, Hashnode, dbt Slack, and email programs.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on technical depth: Experience with the modern data stack, including at least some of: dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, SQL at scale, or Python data tooling. Ability to read and understand SQL transformations, YAML model files, and Python notebooks.
• Strong writing skills: Proven ability to produce 1,200+ word technical articles with clear structure, opinionated angles, and no fluff that data engineers will actually finish reading.
• Independent learning: Ability to deeply learn a product, read documentation independently, and appreciate product ergonomics.
• AI tool proficiency: Comfort with using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) as accelerators while maintaining personal judgment and technical accuracy.
• Self-directed work style: Ability to take briefs, ship results, proactively push content through review, and raise blockers early with minimal supervision.

We are not looking for a "data influencer" but rather an experienced technical writer or DevRel professional dedicated to boosting the understanding, adoption, and usage of the leading agentic data engineering platform.
