Technical Commodity Manager

Responsibilities
- Liaise with NPI Procurement, Design Engineers, Commodity Managers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure and drive a robust sourcing strategy at the NPI phase for all Sandisk flash products, while ensuring continuity of supply and best-in-class components in BOMs.
- Provide technology expertise to commodity managers to develop supply base strategy.
- Drive supply base strategy by BOM screen at the product design stage, propose second sources or replacements, and drive the technical qualification process.
- Provide expert technical support to the supplier/technology selection process.
- Ensure qualified suppliers or components meet Sandisk technical requirements, quality requirements, and green policy requirements.
- Review suppliers’ technology roadmaps to ensure they meet Sandisk technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or Science with equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience, with expertise in electronic components, IC, and project management.
- Experience in technical commodity management, product development, quality management, or field application engineering is required; hardware design experience is a plus.

Pay
The salary range for this role is based on factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, internal and external equity, and business needs. The range provided is applicable for jobs performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remote roles that can be performed in these states. You may also be eligible for participation in Sandisk’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, depending on your role and performance.
