Technical Buyer

About the role

Jet Avion Corporation, located at HEICO's corporate headquarters in Hollywood, Florida, specializes in the supply of various platforms of aircraft and engine PMAs, ranging from interior cabin components to highly complex power‑plant and accessory parts. The Senior Technical Buyer is a full‑time direct‑hire position responsible for managing and executing the company's total supply chain strategy.

Responsibilities

• Supplier identification and management from request for quotation to delivery acceptance, including price negotiation and scheduling.
• Inventory management and coordination to minimize excess material and maximize order fulfillment.
• Data analysis to uncover trends and deviations, facilitating proactive inventory, supply chain and demand management.
• Drive effective and timely communication between upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure optimal supply chain performance, agility and flexibility.
• Proactively seek out and champion opportunities for improvement and innovation within the supply chain and in its relationships with other business functions.
• Ability to understand manufacturing drawings, aerospace standard specifications, and quality requirements to act as liaison between suppliers, quality department, and engineering department to ensure compliance and timely issue resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
