Summary
The Technical Business Systems Analyst (TBSA) serves as a client advocate and manages the successful delivery of projects. They translate business and functional requirements into clear, testable specifications and ensure alignment between business, UX, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities

Client Working Sessions:
- Understand client's business model, solutions, and program life cycle.
- Provide recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Plan, facilitate, and document structured sessions with stakeholders.
- Surface assumptions, dependencies, and decision points.
- Distribute summaries with decisions, open items, and owners within one business day.

Requirements & Story Decomposition:
- Author and maintain project-level requirements documents.
- Decompose requirements into page-component user stories.
- Write acceptance criteria for each story.
- Maintain traceability and flag conflicting requirements.

Decision & Feedback Resolution:
- Own the decision log and track unresolved items.
- Communicate outcomes and rationale.
- Incorporate decisions into requirements and stories.

UX & Portal Experience:
- Review and convert UX decisions into functional requirements.
- Collate feedback into the central tracker.

Technical & Data Collaboration:
- Validate data fields and document conditional logic.
- Document integration points and expected outcomes.

Documentation & Governance:
- Own and maintain centralized requirements and feedback documentation.
- Ensure consistency and completeness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors degree with IT focus, or equivalent 10+ years experience.
- At least 3 years in a client-facing role with senior business or advisory stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with web-based platforms and data-driven applications.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Experience writing acceptance criteria and decomposing requirements.
- Domain expertise in life insurance, executive benefits, or advisory platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data mapping and complex business-rule documentation experience.
- Experience with distributed or cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with collaboration tools and governance.
